Is there a maximum distance you will travel to get to an event?

Of course not, mileage will be charged accordingly from the town of Alcester B49 and will be quoted accordingly.  However, if it is not possible to return back in one day overnight accommodation would be required and chargeable. 

Is it just classical music you play?

Our extensive library covers most styles of music from current through to older chart topping pop songs, musicals, seasonal music, classical and any specially requested music can me written out.

My fiancé has a vision of walking down the aisle to our favorite pop song when we first met, would this be at all possible for you to arrange?

No problem whatsoever, Occasional Brass has two arrangers with degree and Masters Qualifications in music.  In general any piece of music can be arranged.

Would you be available to play at two venues on the day i.e. the church / civil ceremony as well as background music at the reception venue?

Yes, all individual needs would be discussed beforehand.

What is the dress code for the quintet?

Most of the time we are asked to wear Dress suits but we can wear lounge suits, smart casual or any other requests (within reason!!)

Do you have a C.D?

We do have a Demo C.D which we use for advertising purposes, but currently we are recording a C.D with our local record company A435 Records.  You can listen to some of our music by clicking here.

Do you have a list of music that we could look at?

Yes, please contact us and we would be happy to either e-mail or post a list of our current library.

Do you have contacts for other musical groups and DJ’s?

Yes. We are in contact with a wide, but closely knit group of musicians encompassing all styles and D’Js.     In fact we are all longstanding members of the Alcester Victoria Silver Band, and any size band can be arranged from a 10 piece to a full 30 member strong brass band.  Please contact Sue Bates for details: 01789 488449

Every engagement is considered on an individual basis taking into account the distance required to travel, performance time or commissioned musical arrangements.
